License Bracket Dimensions

I've been thinking about making a tail tidy in the next couple of weeks while I wait for delivery of the 848SF to help pass the time, and what I need is the bolt spacing so I can start the R&D. I'm going to assume big brother uses the same bolt pattern as the 848 since the commercial units look to have the same P/N's.

If anyone's kicking around in their garage/shop and has a minute to put a caliper or steel rule across the bracket and jot down the numbers I would be appreciative. (My closest dealer is about an hour away or I'd just go measure it m'self, if your wondering )

Not high-priority by any means, don't toss your beer or punt the dog out of the way to run and do this.........figured there may be someone in the northern latitudes who's doing winter maintenance that wouldn't mind taking the measurements.

drawing is NTS, but any pertinent numbers you feel like adding certainly won't hurt.

Thanks in advance

10 diameter holes
Front pair 62mm from center to center
Back pair 110mm center to center
Front to back distance 75mm
Hope ya understand this, any trouble let me know
I bought an r&g unit and took it straight off! Looked terrible to my suprise because the one on my gsxr was fab,I ended up making my own, didn't use the four fixings just the two closest to the back (62mm)

That's perfect.......just one thing, the front to back is bolt-to-bolt right?

I may end up hating what I come up with and getting a commercial unit after all, but I think I want my plate closer to the front of the bike than the tail tidy's you can buy have it placed, more "tucked under".

All it will cost me is time anyway, I wouldn't paint or powdercoat 'till I tried it on for size, thanks for the quick reply friend!

Not sure what you mean bolt to bolt? If you looked down at your drawing of it say it'll be 72mm from top line holes to bottom line of holes,I agree the r&g sticks out too far as do the indo brackets there about a foot apart, looks ridiculous,I've bent my bracket right after the bolt hole at 90*
perfect angle
Let me know if this makes sense
Sure have fun making it,if ya don't like it ya can just bin it
