848 Streetfighter Bars
Does anybody know if the higher 848 Streetfighter bars will fit the 1098 Streetfighter without changing the throttle cable?
Could do with the 848 parts catalogue I suppose.

I never thought they did a good job of cable layout on the 1098sf, I hope they had time to look at that. Between the little space between the dash and the manner the lines fed to the TB's, you need to be mindful when messing with the cables.

The original cables will work with the Renthal 814 bars by re-routing the cables out the side of the headlight nacelle, and those bars are a bit higher than the 848 bars from the pictures I've seen. I don't think there'd be a problem.

I have had some Rizoma bars on for a while and I had a new throttle cable made so I could keep it in the correct place. Just wandering if they used a different throttle cable or are the new bars not high enough to need it.

My understanding is it is the same bar as big brother. It just has a 22mm higher perch on the triple.

The Renthal Fat Bar is wider if I remember correctly, I went with the Rizoma after selling that one bc it is the same size, just different angles.
