New Way to FAQ Each Other
I was thinking about how much the old stalwart members of this forum hate reiterative threads and about how challenging it is for new members to search and find the good info and answers to their questions. Then I followed Engadget's live-feed of Apple's big eLearning announcement today and I think I have the answer:
Apple announces free iBooks Author OS X app for publishing books to the App Store -- Engadget
Instead of 100 page threads going back into 2009 we could have a nice tidy eTextbook for iPad thanks to the free App iBooks Author. Charge $1 and send the proceeds to Gilly (after Apple's 30% cut of course). Who's in?

Saying "I'm in" just means I like your idea. I have no idea how to help or how exactly This system would work, soooo.. "Im jumping on your bandwagon" is more like it

Unfortunately, as an Apple employee, I'm not allowed to own/sell stuff in Apple's ecosystem. I'd be happy to help contribute, but need someone else (with a Mac and iPad) to take this bull by the horns. I'm hoping that the contributions towards Gilly will inspire some of the most knowledgable and longer tenured to help lead the way.
