Anyone installed Brutale Handlebars on the SF?

ok I took my (new for me) SF-S for some canyon riding - the bike is fantastic without a doubt the best bike I have ridden on street.. but I need some improvements to feel comfortable and confident. The first being bars - I am pretty sure the Brutale bar would do the trick (I think the MV Brutale has the best naked sport seating position I have tried - yes I 5'8" and fit in the tight triangle).

has anyone tried this mod? anyone have a stock brutale bar that they want to sell - for as I know they are both fat on the middle part.

Please sell me your stock bars if you do change them over. Mine are got bent from a slow lowside and I love the aggressive stock ones, so looking for another set.

Found a place that sells Brutale compatible bars - claims 28mm at the center and 22mm diameter at grips with total width of 707mm.

I certainly like the small width of the bars, but am I reading your link right that they are 143mm or 5.62 inches high??

CHM have a look at Rizoma bars, I've installed them on my own bikes plus a few friends and customers bikes, they are alittle higher and more swept back making the riding position alot more comfortable.

It appears so.. but when installed and the bar twisted downward it is more like 3". I know it is high by most in here standards, but I loved it on the Brutale I rode and every time I sit on one at the dealer.

Very cool then. Give us a report on how the install and first impressions are. I just put some Pro taper RM Low bend on mine. I have yet to try it out.
Good luck.

The protaper looks like but seems wide to a bit wide for my taste - looks like it will like the fatbars I have seen. Will go the dealership this weekend and see if the rbrutale bar would fir and if the have one or else order from the link above at redracing - free shipping around the world delivered @ $63

Also tempted by the Speedymoto tall boys - pull up for everyday and drop for track or canyon fun - still closer than stocks bar which are past the fork legs

Tall boy Clip-ons 50mm - Black: SpeedyMoto Ducati

anyone tried this?

Went to Munroe Motors (local dealer in SF) and the guy let me borrow a 08 speed triple bars to try on the SF - it looks similar to the Brutale but wider. will try and post pictures.

Also did most of you who upgraded to rizoma, fatbars, renthals have not issues with cable lenghts?

Renthal 814 bend FatBars here, no problems with cable lengths after I routed them outside the dash confines...here's the measurements on the various FatBars...
