Shout out

To NPR Ducati,
Paul and Vic at NPR are absolutely awesome. When they started performing the 7500 miles service on my bike they noticed that my tank was swollen. They verified that my bike is still under warranty, ordered another tank, and notified me.

That is what I call Customer Service from a dealership!!!!

It's good to see this ducduc... Especially when you find a dealer that really takes care of you. No coincidence that we see good praise for a handful of dealers fairly regularly on this forum and I think this dealer has been one of them...

Great post DucDuk! Love hearing stories like this. If a service-place is going to service a bike, why not go a tiny bit above and beyond to look for common issues like the tank while you've got the bike there already?

Last place that had my Duc (for some misc work), I also asked for the throttle play to be adjusted. Come back weeks later to be told it was looked at, and that "it was well within spec". The hell it was. I just took it home and took the 15 minutes to adjust it myself. Was it easy? Of course. All throttle cables are easy to fix. Being lied to, just cuz you were too lazy to do it yourself? Bah....

>:/ Still really disapoints me....

So it was doubly great to hear your story, DucDuk! Thanks for sharing.

I hope to hear more good stories about outstanding customer service from their Ducati Dealerships- I think 2012 will be better for the consumer- There will be less dealerships- But those that remain vibrant/ or just above water will understand the value of their customers. I'm sure many never left the path in this regard, but there are a few that will fail ....

Not to mention that they host some very cool track days...
From what Paul (NPR) mentioned to me, there will be more track days hosted by NPR in 2012. Keep an eye on their facebook page for the schedule. They do a few with Melillililillimoto as well. I think I used to many ililili's in there, but you know what I mean. That's Sebastian's dealership out of Ocala, FLA.
