Real quick question fuel pump inlet/outlet hoses

Hey guys...just got my tank back and in my haste to remove it and get the scratches painted I forgot to not which hose connects to the pump outlet...the right side coming of the "T" fitting or the left. My gut tells me the right but want to be sure before I take the leap and reinstall with those flimsy plastic clamps...already broke one getting the thing off.

Thanks!

FYI: There are two flimsy aluminum tabs that hold the lines on the underside of the tank. The one tab on the right side has a tendency to gouge the vertical cylinder cover. It will look like someone took a screw driver and Effed your shit up. The cause is that these hose holding tabs have the edges of the tabs stamped away from the hose... good for the hose, bad for the valve cover as your bike vibrates and scrapes some really ugly gouges into the cover.

Interesting, I was wondering where the hell that scratch came from... I guess I'll try moving it around when the tank goes back on...

Since this pic shows that the two connectors at the pump are side by side and on the sf they are top and bottom.... Which one is which?? Is the blue hose out and the green hose in?

Thanks

I could be wrong, but I don't think it makes any differenece. One fuel line is the pressure side and the other is the return side. Both fuel ilines run to/from that tee fitting which then feeds the two injectors.

On mine the right side fuel line (blue in the picture) attaches to the forward fuel pump pickup and the left side fuel line (green one in the pic) attaches to the rear fuel pump pickup.

Also, I removed those fuel line clips that are on the bottom of the tank (the ones Gilly was talking about). The right side one will definitely begin to gouge the top of the vertical cylinder's cam cover once your tank expands.

Perfect thx, I was thinking the exact same. I also wrapped the clips with hockey tape to protect them. Will bundle everything up tomorrow.
