Red tank on white bike...
My latest gas tank (3rd) is starting to show signs of swelling.
I'm thinking of asking for a red tank when I seek a replacement. How would that look, a red tank on a white bike?...currently only the tail section and headlight surround are white.
Maybe someone could do me up a photoshop to help me decide...

It would look like crap.
Be happy if you get another new tank at all. and this time, get it coated.

Absolutely agree. That's going to look like shit. A hodge podge of patched up parts on otherwise, a beautiful bike.
Except to those who are color blind....

For that matter if you want to change the colors, you should get the tank painted Green, leave the tail / headlight White, and get the lower pieces painted Red.

It could look cool if the bottom part of the tank was white but the top was red, e.g., if it was a design and not just a red tank plopped on a white bike.

What about a black tank? That might look cool.

Not that bad, now how about making the radiator guards, tank trim, and lower fairing flat black for me...

But I still think it'll look like crap in person - especially on a base with flat black wheels and frame.
