Never turning red lights

I am geting tired of never turning red lights since more and more have these sensors that only sense cars. Since I'm riding a lot at night when there are no cars around i end up waiting for the stupid red lights to turn. I go through many of them, but they started photo enforcing intersections here in Florida, just got some tickets again... Is there some kind of sensor you guys install on the bike so the lights would turn?
Thanks!

Putting the kickstand down? hmmm Thanks I never thought of that... I'll try it.
I googled a bit found some other methods:

Look on the ground try to find either the outside of the loop or the middle and park there. If no loop chances are it uses a camera to sense cars so look up at the light but you shouldn't have any problems with those.

About time. I have a light near my home that I had to go 4 miles out of my way to avoid!

It would be nice to be able to mock the frequency that Emergency vehicles strobe their lights a sensors here in Ca look for this and change to green immediately.

Conversely, I run a lot of red lights but there are no cameras to no problem.

Look both ways.... twice, then go ahead, just go ahead... feels odd at first , almost like you are breaking a law... but trust me- you are saving seconds from your life!

Can't say anything specific about your state but I'd treat it as a malfunctioning traffic light. Download a copy of your state's current DMV manual. Probably doesn't mention anything about how long you have to wait at a malfunctioning traffic light. It usually states you must treat a malfunctioning traffic light like a stop sign.

Of course its easier to make the call when at a turning light. Having waited a light cycle or 2 for those going straight and the turn light still doesn't trip, I'll make the turn. It's tougher when you are trying to trigger the light to go straight across.

As for something that will trip the light, I've been told by someone who used to work on traffic light controllers that they can adjust the sensitivity but I've never asked to have it adjusted. I tried putting the kick stand down promptly shut off the bike (I was still in gear ). The car behind me must have had a good laugh. You could try the magnet trick in the link Don posted above.

For now I just wait for a reasonable period of time after stopping and then proceed.
