We've got our 848 matt gray streetfighter over here in the UK (Preston, Lancashire) ready for customers to demo ride and hopefully buy to add to the ranks of SF owners.

That's good news. My local Dealer is talking Feb Mar..
I saw the Yellow one at the Motorcycle show in Long Beach last month. Very attractive color. Been thinking about getting a Stealth Black one though concerned about the lack of safety factor from boneheads that run into bikes 'cause they don't see them.

If you think the outline of a Streetfighter's yellow tail section will help you from getting rear-ended then well then......nevermind.
Don't count on stupid or un-attentive people not hitting you because of lack of visibility during the day. They will do that no matter what color your bike is.
Buy the color you want based on your taste.

Can you give us a small preview from a real world rider perspective on what it is like? Does it wheelie as easily?

Cool man you took my advice from L4P. Even though everyone disagreed.

Ain't that the truth!!!
Yesterday, I'm riding in my residential area and some guy in a pickup is backing out quickly from his driveway right onto the street that I'm on. I'm thinking, "this guy doesn't see me", so I stop about 1 foot from where his driveway meets the road. After his truck is in the street and comes to a stop, the passenger window comes down and his wife gives me the "Oh my God, we didn't see you" look. I just raised my hands with my palms open and shook my head.
Anyway, congrats on your new purchase. The yellow looks great from the pics I've seen.

Grrrr! Same thing happened to me. I just dont get it. When your behind the wheel, the luxury of "spacing it" is not even an option. Your putting peoples lives in danger!
Cant wait to hear the reviews on the 848 from owners!!!
