oil cap screw

hey, anyone know the dimensions of the screws that hold the oil cap on streetfighter, 1x98


Thanks

Need a temp on from a local hardware store.

If you are talking about the oil filler cap, I don't it's thread pitch or diameter. However, I think an oil filler cap from any Ducati belt driven cam motor should fit.

i need the screws that hold the cap on. there are four, i need one temp that will fit.

Are you talking about the 4 small bolts securing the oil pickup gauze filter cover plate on the bottom of the sump? If so, I believe they are M6x1. I don't know the length off hand, but you should be able to figure that out by measuring the depth of the hole.

I noticed where you are. Are there any hardware stores or maybe a Canadian Tire nearby? You need an M6X1.0X15 screw. Any style head will work until you can find the proper one.

If you go to the TPO parts site, they make a billet aluminum cover plate that seals with an o-ring so you don't need any sealer. It comes with 4 new screws also.
