Wow, where to start??? There are many, many threads here on various solutions to the fueling issue. Some work well, some not so well. I'd say get a really big cup of coffee, read up in the FAQs section here, then refill the cup and do a search in the SF forum under "fueling", "tuneboy", "ECU", "powercommander", etc.
I'm using a Redline reflashed ECU. Works well, relatively inexpensensive, but does require someone who has the proper experience to set the TPS, balance, fuel trim, and bleeds (ie,... a normal tune) to get the most out of it. Best of luck.

Unfortunately GM this is not basic stuff with Ducati. It is a major problem with Ducati and it can be quite complicated and frustrating.
As FlyingQ says read the FAQ at the top of the streetfighter section and do a few searches - much has been written
DP stands for "Ducati Performance". DP is Ducati's aftermarket accessory line.
ECU is the ' electronic control unit" or the bike's computer.
We all wish it was black and white and there was a best option. That's just not the case.
Good luck.

GM.
Most important is to get out of the fekkin loop that the standard ECU (in standard shape) puts you back in between 0 and 5000 (i think it was) rpm.
That fekkin loop makes PC's, Bazzazes or what-have-ya useless between those revs - which is where you'll find the "problem".
Getting your ECU reflashed will help. Or getting a Ducati Performance ECU. And maybe there are other up-graded ECU's you can find?
I go with a DP ECU and a nicely dialled in PC V meself. I'm well happy.
The advantage with PC V, Bazzaz e t c is you can finetune (experiment with) the settings as you go along (which I have also done).
Whatever makes you and your wallet (missus?) happy.

If you have access to a good tuner who can reflash your ecu do that, it's the easiest.
If not then get the tuneboy but it's a pain and lot of work to get it to do what you want. It's apparently very powerful and feature filled.
