CTS,
I am heading in your direction on Saturday. Dropping my bike off at NPR for the 7500 mile service. Also bringing a friends '08 1098s as it needs its 600 miles service. No, that is not a mistype. An '08 with 600 miles on it.
I plan on being there when they open, would like to meet and BS for a bit if you have the time.

Yeah, it might help if I was to read further on. Just an early morning without coffee / Monster energy drink.

Well Christos, if it makes you feel any better I doubt I'll be riding much for the next few months here too.
The snow is mostly melted till the next storm but there's so much gravel on the roads riding a bike is too risky.
So, I'm with you my friend - missing riding.

+1. Not much gravel here, but just as much rock salt in it's place.

I don't miss the Salt. Bringing vehicles from the south and using them during the winter really tears them up.
