Streetfighter cover
Those of you who have to store your bike for the winter may find this useful. I've attached a couple of pictures of a Nelson Rigg cycle cover that I got from Motorcyclegear. It's the Falcon Defender 3000, size large.
The material is what I'd call a medium weight cloth. It has another softer cloth patch sewn inside to protect the tank area, plastic grommets and elastic cord along the bottom and covered vents (under the triangle patch) on each side.
In the picture you can see it covers the whole bike (1098SF). I still running with the OEM tail section and license plate bracket, exhaust, mirrors, handlebar and directionals.
I can't comment on it being waterproof as it's in my garage. The brochure says waterproof so I suspect it must be coated. Still for $49.99 I'm OK with what I received.

Thanks for the lead. I've been looking for something like this. Passively.

I thought to start commuting to work once in a while. Having a bike covered while it is on a parking lot would make both of us happy.

I'm torn. Keeping the dust off is great, not seeing the beauty in my garage when I walk out there is depressing.

I hear you. I just finished riding my bikes to a friends shop where I'll store them this winter. Absolutely froze taking the SF there yesterday morning. Nearly pitched the SV650 in a sweeper this afternoon on cold tires. Cold, yes but it was still fun. Miss them already.
