2012 Titanium Streetfighter
Saw a new one at Ducati Austin yesterday. I was expecting a dislike reaction but it is a beautiful bike. Love the fact that they retained the red frame. Nice carbon bits and of course all the appropriate Ohlins bits.

I had exactly the opposite reaction.
I waled in, saw it, dropped my jaw and said: "I want it".
After looking at it for three minutes, I found it looks too cheap. They should have simply sprayed a nice clear coat over that exact colour and it would have been seriously hot. I call it a poorly executed great idea.
If i was buying a Fighter this year, I'd get that one and clear coat it and refinish the carbon parts in satin/matte.

I hate the satin black on the 848 but love this color. I call it a well executed great idea.
Funny how people see things differently.

I saw this colorway at Ducati Indianapolis a week or so ago and was shocked at how much better it looks in person compared to Ducatiusa.com. I agree, if I was shopping for an SF this year I would go with this combo.

I sat on one of the Titanium Streetfighters this weekend. It looks so much better in person than in the pictures. That's the one I'm getting. :-)
