One exhaust running hotter (Termi slip ons)

Hi Guys,

Sorry if this is a strange question but I have just flashed my ECU (using Tuneboy) to erradicate the surging issues of the SF. The flash worked pretty well (havent had a dyno session) and as far as I can tell most of the issues I was having I have not experienced since, a huge thank you to Tuneboy for this.
I will still most likely get a proper tune from my local mechanic but for now Im pretty happy with the results. Oh and thank you Duc Duc Goose for the map.

My question now is, I noticed that one of my exhausts is hotter than the other (top). I was a little concerned that only one exhaust was working so I checked both exhausts were working. They were. I read some notes on Tuneboy and SF tuning and read that one of the cylinders is supposed to run hotter, could this be the reason for the hot exhaust?

I never took notice of the heat from the stock cans so Im not sure if the one hot exhaust is normal or not. The difference in temps of the two termi's is quite noticeable when you feel the temps.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Check for a loose nut behind the wheel.

I assume you are talking about the exhaust cans and not the header pipes. The cans both come off the same pipe, so no worries there. The top one is more of a straight shot so most of the exhaust flows through it.
