2011 vs. 2012 Streetfighter ergonomics

Has Ducati made any changes in regards to stock ergonomics. Are the bars positioned any higher, seat lower, pegs moved, etc?

One change that had been made is the 2012 SF has slightly higher bars. Just like on the new 848.

I actually don't know if that is a good thing. All naked comparos bring up the fact that the SF has more aggressive riding ergos than the competition. Having come from pure Sportsbikes, I find the SF perfect. It's not a Harley!

i think they did the same mods as they did to the sf848. 20mm higher riser on the bars, and spacers on the rear sets.

if you dont like them, i'm pretty sure you can just take off the risers/spacers and bring it back to the orig sf ergos.

I agree, the ergos on the SF are perfect for what it is.

Boxers or briefs.

What's OK for one may not be for another.

That's true, and that's why there are different types of bikes.

The first thing I did when I got the bike was get the Renthal Fatbar that raised the bar about 1-2". I thought it was the greatest improvement (you can probably search for the threads I made praising it)........

I just put the stock bar back on a couple weeks ago. I guess it just took me a while to get comfortable enough with the bike.
