Not SF but Naked yes...

I know its not Ducati but its in the same class either way.

Finally got around to putting a exhaust on the Speed Triple....looks great and sounds even better. Then theres the gunshot going off in your helmet which is quite painful. haha

Just something fun to look at if you have 10 seconds.

The exhaust looks good but it's not supposed to pop like that and have a flame coming out the muffler. It's most likely lean and needs fuel adjustments. I also own a speed triple so I'm familiar with them. They can have some slight burbling or minor backfiring on heavier deceleration with a straight through muffler and proper fuel tuning but these are more normal and sound different than what your bike is doing. .

Yeah, I know I need to get a fuel controller. The bike comes with a baffle that takes away the flame but it still pops. Those pops are exactly the same thing even if you cant see a flame, Hmm. The bike is running way too rich actually. Strong smells of fuel from the muffler when shut off as well.

All the same as the bike needs a tune. TOR tune seems lame so Ill go PCV instead. Bazzaz doesnt actually make one for the Speed or Street Triple.....probably the same as the D675 but Ill have to create a new map from scratch.

Cheers

If there was originally a catalyst in the stock muffler, you probably have a PAIR system that dumps air into the exhaust to help burn off the hydrocarbons. It's no longer necessary and is causing the backfires. It pulls air from the clean side of the airbox, then goes through a control valve and then into the exhaust. I disable them by disconnecting the hose at the airbox, shoving a plug down the hose, and then reconnecting it.

Love the stubby look, your exhaust is now free-breathing, so you will need to modify the fueling. Be sure to post video once you clean up the fueling, I bet it will sound wicked!
