Ohhh yeah - it was fun! It was a birthday ride for one of the local Ducati owner club memeber, and it gives me a perfect opportunity test out my new Contour ROAM. So far I installed one mount only but will install more this week. So far I am very happy about the camera - wind noise is almost doesn't exist!!! Plus it has VERY good sound from the engine and my slip ons (could be better - my pipes suppose sound deeper. But no complain compare to GoPro). Still have a very shake especially when it syncs with the frame rate - but all-in-all it's just great for
Thanks guys! I just glad the system works well. Just got a few more mounting equipments so I will have more shooting angle in the up-coming video.
As for still shot... I will for sure. But probably in next few weeks. The weather here in the Bay Area has been GREAT... So I will find time and places for both still and video.
What you guys think about the sound? I persoanlly think that's the MAJOR IMPROVEMENT from the last generation of camera - there almost no wind noise when the camera facing forward. But once I mount it on my helmet I hear nothing but wind noise. Will do more test - really want to get a true sound of the engine
Very nice quality video and audio! With the audio, it seems you hear the bike behind you as well, yes? It does sound like they protect the mic element from direct air with the camera facing forward. The only thing it lacks is presence, but I'm sure if it had that then the wind issue would be the problem. Audio is hell on bikes.

I did in fact mount the camera next to the engine on the left and facing forward, so if you head the sound coming from behind, then I think the mic did an excellent job. Unlike GoPro, there is no housing outside the camcorder, and the mic is directly facing forward under weather. I was really suprised it actually works - I was consider to put a dead kitty skin on top it if it doesn't turn out nice

Due to harassment of the local enforcement, I do have to keep that piece of gum on my bike
