Recently got back from a 7 day camping trip thru TN, NC, VA, and KY. This pic continues to make me LOL at this bike with bags on it. Do i win at luggage?

How was the ride with the luggage. Any problem getting on/off?

on and off was easy....hardest part is initially setting up the quick release straps for the bags to the right length/tension..then it's about 10 sec on/off.

ride was fine, didnt even know they were there.....almost knocked the bike over several times trying to get my leg over tho

I'm guessing that you're friends with the owner of the B-King behind your SF. Have you ever had a chance to ride the B-King? If you have, what did you think of it?

the bking is a pretty cool bike...once you change the exhaust it doesnt look too bad...pretty comfortable...the best part about that bike is the motor....buttery smooth and pulls like a freight train. pretty sporty around turns....no SF but for most of us its probly sporty enough.

I own a Hayabusa so I know the B-King does have a great motor. When the B-King first came out I was interested in it. I had a chance to sit on one and it seemed big for a naked bike. If it's anything like the Hayabusa this goes away as soon as you get moving faster then parking lot speeds. The bike didn't sell very well. Several years after the release of the B-King I found a couple really good deals on several of them. They where really cheap. I kind of wish I would of bought one.

I was at a dealer closing auction this past winter and they had one. I think it got bid up to around $3800 and sold if I remember correctly. I was there to buy shop tools so I honestly wasn't paying much attention, but there were very few people bidding on it.

$3800 for a new B-King? That's a lot cheaper than I saw them. A dealer buy me was selling them for about $8000 on clearance.
