Bungee net?
Any one ever use one on the back of there sf? I am pretty confident i will be getting the 848 sf this spring. but last night it brought up a question, i had to transport large box on the back of my bike around the grab rails, but looking at the sf pics i would assume it would have to go under the whole tail and and back over top. Now i only do this once month when wine gets shipped to work and i go to motogp in the summer with soft saddle bags and tent and sleeping bag bungeed to the back. I know this bike is an urban assault weapon and meant for sport touring but i was wondering who has done any strapping to the back?

If you don't use Wonways crate idea and use a bungee net you're guaranteed to scratch the paint on the tail section.

Clean the tail section and lay Saran Wrap on the painted surfaces. That should keep the paint chafing to a minimum.

Do we really have a thread about a bungee net on the streetfighter forum?
God, the reality is far worse than the nightmare.
(Why can I not find the 848 dreaded questions thread?)

I knew i would get clowned for asking about bungee nets. I use my bikes not just for the weekend but every day use. In the ducati world the 848sf will be known as the bike with less balls and an all-around lesser ducati than its big brother. But what i do and what i need the 848sf is what Im looking for. Since the tail sections look identical to 1098sf i was just wondering how others have secured loads to the rear. besides the motogp camping trips, i never intend on taking anything on the back, things just pop up.
