WTB - Ducati Meccanica leather jacket
I would like to buy Ducati Meccanica leather jacket size 42 US. (I think this is 52 Eur)
Local seller preferred, but will not shoot down any reasonable response.
See image below.
Image is not mine. It is a link i found in this forum.

That would be the "Old Times Jacket" good buddy, not Mechanica. Very hard to find.
Good taste. I have a couple of 'em...

Jellonailer,
Thank you for correcting me - now I am getting more hits on searches. You wouldn't happen to be a size 42, would you?

FYI guys, the Ducati Meccanica jacket was discontinued. Grab them if you can find them. They are nice jackets.

The one in San Diego is a little high. There was another on e-bay size 44 which sold for $220.

I took the e-bay link that ended at $220 and sent it to the San Diego Craigslist seller, and made an offer.
I met with Dan in San Diego and finalized the deal.
It was a reason to ride - the 5 freeway is a nice ride along the coast.
Dan happens to be selling his 749 dark in Craigslist. I told him to list it in the FS section here. Very good person to deal with. I have come to expect a certain level of brotherhood among bikers.
The Old Times jacket is an amazing looking jacket.

Just FYI.
A lot of folks are under the mistaken impression that a dry and cracked leather is "right". Pretty much 100% of the makers of leather garments deliver them bone dry. This leads to cracking and premature wear.
If you like the jacket and and want to keep it a long time, then you need to apply a preservative of some sort. Lexol at the least but preferably a silicone based moisturizer. I used to use Mink Oil but
Langlitz Leathers : leather motorcycle garments - Jackets, Vests, Shirts, Pants, Chaps, Gloves, Saddle Bags, Leathers
sells the best moisturizer that I have ever found. Apply it until the leather will no longer absorb it and it leaves a wet sheen. Then wipe the excess off. It might take a full day to treat a dry jacket.
I have some custom made leather pants that you would bet me are brand new.
They look like a million and are smooth and supple.
They are 30 years old.
I have a Langlitz jacket I had custom made 10 years ago but it looks like it was made yesterday.

Motolectric,
Are you referring to Langlitz leather dressing? I can't seem to figure out their website. I can't find a way to order products online.
