Best thing I thought of to do is to include this link to the Olympia home page. This will give you a better overall on the suit details than I could type out. But I will give you my real-world opinions.
Olympia Moto Sports - Phantom One Piece Suit
I shopped for this suit for quite some time, trying it on and testing one out over a dozen times before buying. I even compared to the world infamous Aerostitch one piece suit. I will tell you the
ONLY thing better about the Aerostitch suit over this one IMO is getting it on and off. The Olympia is just as quality in the materials and craftsmanship. This suit as full length velcro closures that cover (in addition to) all zipper closures down the legs and down the front. IMO, this suit is ventilated much better than the Aero. I rode in summer with this thing and ventilates great. Full length zipper access mesh on the sleeves is awesome. In the end, I went with this suit over the Aero because I just couldn't find 2.2 times the reasons to justify 2.2 times the cost. This thing has more pockets than you can shake a stick at. It'll take you a month to find them all! All water proof!
Mine has been washed and scotchguarded. I've ridden in everything with this suit, including 45 mile freeway commutes in downpours. Suit is completely waterproof. I got damp through the front main closure one time, but this soakthrough was only in the area that bunches up around the lower belly area in a sitting position. The suit had folded up slightly creating a pocket that was holding water. I started feeling the water after about 40-50 minutes in a complete freeway downpour. Anything would have gotten wet that day!! Easy to included heated gear underneath. I've ridden with this suit, heated jacket & gloves, and no heated pants down into the low 40's/high 30's and was warm! Not comfortable or tolerant...warm!
These suits come in S, M, L , XL, etc. Mine is a L (large) I am 5'1'1", 178 lbs, 31" waist. I don't know my actual inseam, but I buy jeans in a 34" length.
The suit is completely roomy standing and I ride my 749 with no pulling up in the crotch on the bike in riding position. Riding my MTS was obviously completely comfortable. The legs even fully rested on the bottoms of my boots while in a riding position on the 749. They even stacked just slightly on the MTS. On me with my frame, there is quite a bit of room around the mid section. I had to cinch in the waist band quite a bit to fit me properly, but it did not bunch up or become uncomfortable because of this. But there is plenty of room to grow in this sucker if you like.
Suit has also been crash tested and performed flawlessly. Two small area's of road rash in photo's. I feel it adds character as I hated wearing this thing when it was brand new. Threads lose on that shoulder seam, but not all the way through. Will include more photo's of roadrash if these aren't good enough for ya.
Only downside is the suit is not offered with the full length liner as mentioned on the web site. But that thing's not really a big deal anyways...especially if you'll be using heated gear in the winter. I found it made the suit too bulky.
Please let me know if you have additional questions that I did not cover or you'd like other photos.
Reasonably offered at $199.00
