2 helmets, Arai and Bell Star

I have 2 helmets for sale. Both are in perfect shape, no scratches or drops or anything. Both are size XL. The Arai Profile was brand new last summer. It has a clear shield, and will come with the cloth Arai bag.

The Bell Star, Day of the Dead grapichs helmet is the latest version, Snell 2010, also in Xl. I bought it a couple months ago. It fits slightly larger than an arai XL . I have 55mm Firm cheek pads for it also , which makes it fit like an Arai XL. THIS HELMET HAS THE SOLFX TRANSITIONS SHIELD ON IT, and includes a brand new, never used clear shield. THe transitions photochromatic visor works great. In bright light it tints very dark, and in the dark, it goes clear, and to anything in between for other lighting conditions. It is fantastic. The Stock cheek pads are in it now, and the others will be included as well. The venting on the Bell is incredible. It includes all the original accessories such as the track strip, the manual, etc...

$225 for the Arai, $325 for the Bell with the extras included.

PM me for information!!!!

Adam

May also trade for tire warmers, maybe 1098 parts, especially carbon.

Couple changes

Arai no longer for sale. It doesn't make sense to sell it for less!!

Bell available only with a new clear visor, trasnsitions visor not available. Reduced price to $250 shipped on the Star. Will also include the extra cheekpads and all other accessories.

Will still trade for tire warmers or open to offers on 1098 parts or a front stand.

Thanks,
Adam

How do you like the Bell compared to the Arai? I was always curious if marketing is true about what it says. . . .

Is $250 your best price? Sorry to ask man. I just have to many lids. . .

Quality wise, I would say that the Bell is right on par with the Arai. The shield release mechanism is the best I have ever used on the Bell. Stable at 135 mph, even without the "track strip " on it.

The interior of the Arai is slightly more plush, but the Bell is very close, plus the Bell has the pockets in the ear area to put speakers like the Cardo Scala Rider Q2 that I used. The venting on the Bell is far superior to any Arai I have worn, or the AGV's I have used. I would say that it is very similar to the Shark RSR2 that I rode, maybe slightly better. That being said, it is also slightly louder because it flows a lot of air.

Having the option of the Transitions SolFX shield on the Bell is a HUGE selling point. I have another Bell Star, and I wear that helmet all the time simply because I never have to worry about changing shields...

I'll PM you also.

Adam

I own both, and have always had Arai RX-7 series helmets. I got a Bell Star last year and, in my opinion, it's just as good as my Corsair. The only word of caution I would give is that I normally wear a size large in most helmets, but the Bell medium fit me best.

Bell Star is sold

The Bell Star has sold. If the right offer came for the Arai profile, I'd consider it.
