Sport Classic Wheels, Rear Brakes, Stock Mufflers, Dart Flyscreen
I purchased this bike in August of this year with 2500km. I paid a premium as it was in perfect shape, had never seen rain and was stored inside buy a really particular owner. Since then I have rode several long highway tours and entirely avoided rain except on occasion I arrived in a town with a few puddles (a picture of the rear tire will confirm my highway use). I use only the best cleaning products on the bike (I currently use Zaino car care items) to avoid damage.
I have the following parts for sale from my 2009 Ducati Sport Classic BiPosto, they are in pristine shape:
Wheels and stock Phantom tires - $575.00
Front Rotors - $150.00
Rear Rotor - $40.00
Cush drive and sprocket - $50.00
I removed the wheels at 6500km when I converted to cast Marchesini's as I like the modern look. The rims are scratch, dent and mounting mark free. The largest blemish are a few tiny, tiny gravel nicks that are pin sized. They can barely be felt to the touch and are invisible except on extremely close inspection. I tried to photograph them, but they don't show up, the natural grain or the aluminum is more predominant.
Rear tire tread measures 0.065 in the center, 0.150 at the edges. I assume this means there's about 43% tread left on the rear.
Front tire tread measures 0.092 in the center, 0.120 at the edges. I assume this means there is about 76% tread left on the front.
The cush drive is very clean and the rear sprocket doesn't show any wear, with 6500km on it.
The rotors are in excellent shape, thanks to primarily highway operation, again with 6500km.
Dart Flyscreen - $75.00 (Dart FlyScreens Ducati Sport Classic model)
The Dart flyscreen looks almost mint, but has some swirl marks that are inevitable on plexi-glass when you look up close. They don't photograph, but they are visible on inspection in the light. The screen has less than 4000km.
Stock exhaust mufflers - $175.00
The stock mufflers were removed at 600km, they are essentially new take offs.
Rear calliper, carrier and pads - $65.00
Rear brake parts are in excellent shape, pads look nearly new with 6500km. I rarely used the rear brake on the highway.
Prices do not include shipping and are US or Canadian dollar, it's close enough that I'll take either. I will ship at actual cost, and am willing to supplement 1/2 of the cost of ground shipping for US purchasers. I ship from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. (That should even out the shipping costs compared to a US seller).
I have researched the prices on this board, ebay and the bigger used parts sellers. If I am off on a price, send me a PM, I am open to offers.
I prefer PayPal and will not charge a fee for a merchandise purchase.
Thanks,
Guy
