Ohlins PS1000 Forks Available
This set of Ohlins forks are off my PS1000, I am putting on R&T race forks (had to give myself an xmas present)
They have .95nm springs and Ohlins superbike 25mil piston kit installed and they work really well, in fact I won 2 BOT races at Daytona back in October.
Also the forks were completely freshened up a week before Daytona, so only 3 months since rebuild.
These are a direct bolt on for All Sport Classic and most Monsters.
They will come with Brembo calipers that have been machined so that a 999 wheel is now a direct bolt on. If you are not using 999 wheels, no problem just remove the calipers and bolt on your stock ones.
Comes with Ti axle pinch bolts, and one of the calipers has Ti bolts ( a some point I managed to loose the other two.
The forks are in great shape, however not cosmetically perfect, there are marks from road grime hitting them, its not bad in my opinion but is there, you can just turn the fork leg in the tree so that the perfect side faces out, that way they look almost new.
$1950.00 plus shipping.
Frank

Wow, this is a screaming deal. I just had the 25mm Ohlins SC kit installed into my stock legs by STG. Hopefully they'll work nearly as well as these...!
BTW, they set me up with .90 springs for street only use. Good call? (185#)

I will be using brembo radial calipers from a 2009 848 for now, they will be all I will ever need for this bike. However when my budget will allow I am going to get brembo billet monoblocks, just because I like trick stuff!

yeah... i got a set of 848 radial calipers and they worked perfectly...
An opportunity arose to get the brembo monoblocs which I think are off a 1098? so I put them on... need new pads though.. a bit of overkill...

Forks have been SOLD.
Upper 50mm, lower 54mm
calipers are 65mm spacing.
at the moment there is a forum member that has committed to purchase these forks, currently waiting for payment.
One way or another I will post an update as soon as I know something.
Frank
