HELP! Pro-Oiler advice needed !

I bought a Pro-Oiler some time ago and have had it fitted for a couple of months (though bike now being ridden infrequently).

Despite careful installation and calibration, I am getting too much oil being deposited, and quite a bit of fling-off onto the rear rim.

The picture shows the final number (3) that is displayed during the start-up sequence, and this same number remains on when riding.

I don't think it is an error code, but I would like to hear from other Pro-Oiler users.

I'm off to the World Superbikes in 4 days , so need to get this either clarified, or the Pro-Oiler disconnected before the longish trip.

Thanks in advance...
