FS: 2006 Ducati 999R Xerox, like new - less body work, includes DP accessories
2006 Ducati 999R Xerox with DP accessories
I have for sale a like new 2006 Ducati 999R Xerox #0042 with 604 miles. The bike is in unmolested, perfect condition less its original Xerox bodywork (sold by me shortly after I purchased the bike in Dec 09). I originally purchased the bike so that I would have a low mileage 999R to transform into my replacement track bike; however, this never happed because I sustained a serious back injury and will no longer be able to ride on the track.
The bike is in its original configuration and has all of its original parts / components for the street less the Xerox bodywork and stock exhaust. The bike has a DP Termignoni asymmetric exhaust system, matching DP ECU, and a standard 999R red gas tank / seat / rear fairing assembly installed. It has been properly cared for, tuned, and maintained even though it has very low miles. Includes the 999R Xerox desk plaque, 2 black keys, 1 red key, code card, plush factory 999R cover, DP rear stand, and original ECU. As expected, the bike has a black color numbered triple, magnesium headlight bucket assembly, Ohlins front and rear suspension (Xerox models have the special black color Ohlins front forks, and the upgraded 3-way adjustable Ohlins rear shock with hydraulic preload adjuster), magnesium head covers, Marchesini forged aluminum wheels, CF timing belt covers, CF V-fairing, and CF Termignoni exhaust cover and guard. The bike still has its original Michelin Power Race tires on the front and rear. If desired, I will also include a like new set of factory 749R bodywork.
Along with the bike, I am also including many hard to find extras and accessories to transform this into an amazing track bike:
- DP Termignoni 57mm full exhaust with titanium silencer and matching DP 999R 57mm ECU; exhaust is in excellent condition, ECU has never been installed.
- DP race fairing support kit with stay and front wiring harness for removing the headlight assembly, brand new.
- Factory Ducati 749R adjustable triple clamp assembly #0408 (30/36mm offset), excellent condition.
- Factory Ducati 749R Ohlins rear short stroke shock assembly with the matching flat rate link and rod assembly, excellent condition.
- Sharkskinz race fairing set, upper and lower, brand new, never installed or painted.
- Pitbull front and rear stands, excellent condition.
Price is $12,500 for the entire package (I am not interested in spliting up the package and/or accessories). The buyer must be willing to pick-up the bike and accessories in North Carolina; I will not ship due to the large number of extras and the shipping costs would be quite excessive. Some things are best accomplished in person, and this sale would be one of them. If seriously interested, send a PM, email, or contact Mike at (831) 392-7457. Thanks for looking.

Wow. If I were anywhere close to North Carolina I'd be backing up to your garage as we speak. That's a fantastic price - probably too low actually. Arguably one of the finest bikes Ducati ever built. Those that own them know what I am talking about.

Umm, yes, this is a deal!!
There are those that price things to sit and gather dust in their own garage.
Then there are those who price things to move yesterday!
Wow.

Where do you live ST3? I live in NC and am driving to KC in a few weeks.
Distance is never a good reason to miss out on an R!

KC is still a ways away - I am in NW Oregon, which is about 1800 miles if I recall. Anyone reading this that is along your path should be snatching this up.
