2004 SS1000 DS Track Bike
Posting for a friend who doesn't have enough posts yet to post a classified:
2004 Ducati 1000DS Track Bike
This is a track only motorcycle (no lights, blinkers, etc.). Fiberglass track bodywork, Ohlins rear shock, Ohlins kit in front forks, rearsets, clip-ons, slipper clutch, Brembo 4 pad upgraded front brakes and Brembo master cylinder, upgraded front rotors and lightened rear rotor. Motor was rebuilt with a 1080 kit last winter, and new Ducati 1098R close ratio transmission. Motor was built by Travis Schultze at Ducati Milwaukee (he does exceptional work!). Built to be a reliable track day motor, not an all out race motor, but is very strong. Never raced, only used for track days last summer. $5500 Call Randy - 402-440-1528 or email: bikefar@neb.rr.com.

Ok, who wants a 944ss track bike with shaved heads, penske rear shock, safety wired, new chain, belts and such? $3,500 and had a full service done a year ago because I had no idea of miles. Runs great but not a beauty queen.
I so want this 1000!!!!!!

Nicely put together and very clean! How does the gearing feel with the 1098R upgrade?

Why the three spoke wheels instead of the lighter 5 spoke wheels that came on the bike?? Are there any parts that go with the bike not listed here?
