Ducati 848 Race/Track bike

2008 Ducati 848

Buyer lost his job yesterday 11/30/11 so the bike is back on the market!

This bike was used as my “B” bike this year and the motor only has 4 sprint races on it (approx 30 laps)! No trackdays. This bike is fast and clean.
Clean Title on hand (not salvage)
BIKE HAS NEVER BEEN CRASHED OR DROPPED

Motor

DucPond Built Motor (by Donnie Unger). Engine was blue printed and built from the bottom up. Motor was built to be fast and reliable. When the engine was rebuilt everything was replaced including the main bearing ($450 for Superbike bearing), belts, etc. The motor was broke in properly on the dyno. As I said earlier this motor only has 4 sprint races on the motor (approximately 36 laps!)
- Yoyodyne Slipper clutch (new plates only 4 races)
- GB racing crash protection kit ($300.00 includes clutch cover, water pump cover, etc)
- Ducati Performance Hi-Flow air filter
- Radiator overflow tank removed and relocated
- EVR Clutch slave

Suspension

- Race Tech 25mm cartridge kit in forks
- Attack racing adjustable off set triples (radiator has been relocated back for clearance) I also have Ducshop 28 mm of set triples I could put on instead of the Attack
- Race Tech rear shock (Fully adjustable-This is the same shock Bobby Fong used not just the model its his actual shock refreshed)
- Ducshop rear link
- Adjustable rear ride height rod

Chassis

- Double Dog Moto full stainless exhaust
- Woodcraft rearsets
- Woodcraft clip ons
- SpeedyMoto Under body frame sliders
- Spider grips
- Speigler front SS braided brake lines (eliminates front double banjo bolt making front tire changes much easier)
- HyperPro steering stabilizer
- Fresh chain
- Yoyodyne quick change carrier with three rear sprockets of your choice
- Vortec lightened front sprocket
- CRG roll-a-click levers
- Ferodo Brake pads in the front brakes (two races!)
- Ferodo Brake pads in rear brake
Electronics
- Ducati Performance Race ECU
- Power Commander III
- Lightweight race battery or OEM your choice

Bodywork

Vortex front fairing stay
- Full set of Armorbodies bodywork with Superbike tail (body work has some rash from when it was on my “A” bike this bike has never been crashed.)
Wheels
- Pirelli Diablo SC DOT front with 8 laps
- Pirelli Diablo SC DOT (180/60)

Fluids

- Agip full syn oil
- K&N oil filter
- ATE Super Blue brake and clutch fluid
- All fluids were just refreshed
Bike has been professionally safety wire by head WERA tech to WERA standards. All bolts have “punch” marks and line up so that all bolts line up for perfect torque settings making front wheel changes quick and painless.

I will share all my gearing and set up information with the person who purchases this bike.

Bike has a clean title! The bike is in race trim but the wiring harness has not been modified so this bike could be converted back to a street bike easily.

This is a true “turn key” race bike. The only reason I am selling the bike is because I am not riding just Ducati’s in 2012.

I am probably forgetting a few things but the bottom line is this bike is mint and need nothing!

The bike will come with the green plastics OR silver… The choice is yours...
Price
$13,000

Ride safe,
AAron

Wish I could swing this now. You're about a year early.

Will also throw in a set of brand new never mounted Pirelli's!!!
So you get a fresh bike and your first two sets of tires! The mounted front and rear tire have 8 laps on them! Essentially brand new...
