As much as it pains me to have to post this and it has taken me awhile to come to this unfortunate conclusion, I am selling my 2006 800ss
. I simply cannot afford to go back to school and keep the bike properly maintained, nor will I have the time to devote to her as she deserves. So I wouldn't dream of selling her to anyone other than anyone of you ducatistas and send her to a loving home.

I have both "riding" keys and the red maintenance key. I am the second owner and do not have the original paperwork or owners manual. I have the title in hand and it is clear. The headlight bulb needs to be replaced because the low beam has gone out, but the high beam works fine. It is coming up on its scheduled maintenance at 12,000 mi to have valves adjusted and oil changed and everything looked over. Because of that I have not rode it since August and it has always been garage kept, including the first owner. The tires are Micheline Pilots, relatively new with only 3,000mi of moderate riding. Never been laid down or taken to the track (unfortunately).
As I said, I wish I didn't have to sell her, but I am leaving the military and it's pay check to return to school and cannot afford the required upkeep and attention she needs and deserves. Therefore I would prefer she go to a good home.
