FS 2006 Ducati SS1000
Well, sadly, I have to create this thread. I have in my possession a 2006 Supersport 1000. I really hate having to sell it, but I just don't have the time to ride it. This bike has roughly 15 000 km on it, or 9500 miles. Asking $8500 Canadian for it, as I'm in good old Alberta.
-Never been raced
-Never been dropped
-Always stored indoors
-Cruised around the city with it
-Sil Motor slip-on exhaust
-LED tail lights with integrated signal lights
-Ducati performance mirrors with integrated signal lights
-Rear seat cowl
-Ducati performance pressure plate
-All stock parts

I love these bikes. If I didn't already have this one I'd be all over it. Good luck. Someone will be getting a great bike.

It has been pointed out to me that $8500 CDN is pretty much $8500 US ($8401 actually) and I have to agree with it being an optimistic evaluation of the value of that bike. I bought mine ('05 SS1000DS) three years ago for $6300.

Bruce, I'm assuming you live in the states?? It actually differs greatly the prices of bikes between up in canada and the states. A brand new 1198S up here sells for $27 000, in the states, $22 000. It seems in canada ducati's are far more rare, and you will be hard pressed to find a decent used one that sells for less than $8000. I would love to drop the price of this bike to make for a quicker sell, but it wouldn't be worth it for me. I love this bike too much to sell it for $6000.

Maybe I should have said I'd be all over it if I was Canadian. Or something like that. Not meaning to disparage your bike at all. I love these things and think that they are the best street bikes Ducati ever made. Anyone who owns one is fortunate IMHO. Good luck with selling it although I know that will be a sad moment.

I should ship mine up to Canada eh...
My '04 with 5900 miles has been for sale for 6 months for $5,900 and not a look. And it's perfect.

It's taken me about 6 mo. (I think) to sell my '02 Bayliss. It will be gone in about 2 weeks. And, I reduced the price significantly. It's one of only 400 ever made and one of 140 in the US and signed by Troy Bayliss. It's just not a good time to be a seller. If money wasn't an issue I'd be keeping it and/or putting your '04 next to my '05. I can't believe it hasn't sold yet.

Jellonailer...I've looked at your bike. It's nice and very worth the current asking price. Be patient my friend. Problem with the business we're in is that you have no choice but to wait on the right buyer to come along. I'd be on your bike if it were not for me wanting a project bike. I can't buy a perfect bike for $6 and throw another $6 at it.
