1997 748 Yellow $3200
Bike is a yellow '97 748 with a few mods. I bought the bike this spring to use as a track toy and decided after one day that due to mileage (37XXX) it is not up to the task. It is currently having charging issues (needs a regulator/rectifier) and I I'm not in a position to sink some money into it, so it must go. Belts/valves were done a little over 1 year ago. I have the bike's entire service history.
Bike has the following mods:
STM crank breather
DP Carbon Fiber slip ons
Carbon Fiber Air Runners
Dymag 3 spoke magnesium rims
FBF chip
Evoluzione Clutch slave cylinder
And some other miscellany such as a CF clutch cover.
Bike has a clean title in hand. I paid $3700 for the bike and $250 to have it shipped professionally from Florida to NC as well as $150 to have the fueling set up on it at the local Ducati dealer. It came with some track take offs which I will include in the sale. Also includes Hayne's service manual.
The bad: I was recently diagnosing the charging problem and, because I'm lazy, didn't disconnect the two fairings where they connect at the bottom. I disconnected all four dzus screws at the top of the right fairing and long story short the bottom holes broke. I need to wash my hands of this project!
I'd like $3200 for everything mentioned. Bike is located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I'm happy to work with a shipper.
Pictures to follow.

The 97 748 has been rumored as the best year for the model line. Why, I don't know, its just thats what I've heard a number of times over the years. I do like the original decal package, similar to the cool decals of the 94-97 916s. Thats an attractive price for your bike, especially with the Dymags. The regulator/rectifier issue is no bigge, been there done that, part of the fix is upgrading the gauge of the involved wires.
