Slightly premature since I still have to finish prepping it, but since I'm getting PM'ed on it already:

1998 Ducati 916 SPS #909

Complete service history, and sales receipts, and signed waiver (original buyer promising not use it on public roads--yeah, right

), along with owners' manuals. Clear title. 12,675 miles. Last full service on 5/29/09 at 9,812 miles at MCC Ducati in Villa Park, IL by previous owner. Outstanding mechainically and cosmetically. Original SPS bodywork except tank, which was rashed on the track (Sharkskinz were mounted, so OEM fairings were safely in my storage area

). The only blemishes are two miniscule marks on the frame/steering damper mount from the right clip-on breaking off (pictured). Everything else is outstanding. New EBC HH front brake pads--zero miles. New Pirelli Corsa III's (<200 miles, and not shredded race take-offs

). 520 conversion--top of the line DID ERV3 chain and AFAM/Renthal quick change carrier w/15T front/40T aluminum rear. STM crankcase breather. CF airbox, fender, license plate mount. Billet rear caliper mount. I'm sure I've forgotten some things. Lots more info and pics to come in the next few days.

$9,000 and if you come to buy this bike and are are dissapointed, I'll pay for your gas/flight home.

Clipon/switch/brake pedal/etc replaced, but this is the only remaining "damage".

Also, if anyone has serious interest, I will sell the '00 SPS instead. It won't come in complete BOTM spec and will be a bit more, but will have the stock Ohlins front end, an STM slipper clutch, and of course the timed cams, etc.

Spent a couple hours today going through a few things. The brake pads shipped before were the wrong ones (single pin) so I got the right EBC HH two pin pads. Calipers were cleaned, applied a little anti-seize to the pins and pad backs. Master cylinder reservoirs have brand new clear tubing and the lever pivots and reach adjusters have been greased.
