2001 Supersport 900
33,4XX Miles, an oil change worth of miles per year basically. Just took it for a 200 mile ride on monday, ran great even though its been in the garage most of the summer.
I am the third owner, I wouldn't question to ride this bike anywhere in the country. Always runs great. First year for the 5 spoke Marchesini's (Don't bother with a Supersport with 3 spokes, it ruins them

) Never been tracked, just used as a weekend warrior and for a handful of trips. I've rode it through the entire Central time zone pretty much. I dont have to tell most of you about this bike but its simple, easy to work on, usable and manageable street riding power/torque/weight bike. It currently has a Pilot Road 2 rear and a BT-023 front (I have the exact mileage these were put on, I will update that today) I also document just about everything. I have everything on painters tap under the seat. Oil/Filter, clutch, clutch fluid, F tire, R tire, valve adj, chain, sprockets everything new owner will need to know. Theres a folder of info with receipt for items purchased for it etc etc.

Bad stuff:
My garage has an uphill exit, one day I was pulling it out an my jeans got caught on the peg, it fell on the left side. I had it back up within 3 seconds of it being over. It scratched and cracked the tail fairing (I bought 2 used ones and installed both, I threw away the broken left side, put the clean one in storage), this one has no cracks and and only buff-out type markings on it) Scratched and minor splits on the left fairing (used touch up paint, didn't bother me enough to spend $1500 on these through Ducati), quarter sized dent in the tank (covered with a color matched decal (I know, i know, sounds stupid, but it looks better than touch up paint) I also picked up a yellow tank that is near flawless, however it has a pinhole leak in it (common of the 02+ tanks) I never installed it due to not wanting chance denting the good tank up, therefore the leak has not been fixed, it is marked exactly where it leaks and should be sealed with a $50 POR kit. The nose fairing was barely touched, but on the outer most edge there are some scuffs that were again, coverable with touch up paint. On my return from my ride on monday, I noticed the covers on the rear signals came off and apparently the led connectors shook and broke because theres no boards inside the casings now. They were junk apparently so theres currently no rear signals, I still have the OEM rear signals if you want to put those on, but I figured the next owner would want other aftermarket ones so theres no point in me buying them, I wont get my money back on them.
There is 1 "bug" with the bike. At a full stop, its sorta difficult to find neutral. It began right when I changed the clutch pack. There were several threads on this, and I tried a few remedies, some made it better, but its still not perfect. I was rarely in town with this bike and the hydraulic clutch isnt too hard on the hands so I never dug into it deeper to fix. Its the type of thing I bring up when other people ask to ride it

there is a trick to it to get it in neutral easily and I can show any potential buyer how to do it.
Aside from that and cosmetic stuff, its good to go.
Between the mods and trimming this and that, I had it on a certified scale. It sits WET (w/ full tank) at the factory measured DRY weight (414 lbs)
Airbox: I have the factory one with the snorkels, the factory with the center cut out and I also purchased 2 pod filters for it (and had a stainless battery tray made) I ran it for a few weeks on that setup, it honestly felt a bit quicker, but you'll find that where the pods sit is a direct line from any water the front wheel would kick up from puddles or in the rain. With the type of riding I would do, I opted out of the quicker feel, for the piece of mind of using the factory airbox. The buyer can have all 3 setups and choose what they want to do.
Stand: As you can see I have 2, you can have one with purchasing the bike. It's pretty much necessary with this bike since you cant run it without the kick stand up.
Extras: I have an extra clutch lever (ordered offline and couldnt get it in time for a trip so I bought another locally) Tank (as mentioned above) flawless right side tail fairing (as mentioned above I bought 2 used ones, I kept the good one off the bike incase something happened) Chrome clutch cover, I liked it with nothing on it, some might worry about shoelaces getting caught.
Gear: I have a Shoei RF-1000 size Large with Ducati decals. The paint of it matches the bike perfectly, it comes with the gold chrome shield, and the original clear still in the plastic. Icon Retro Daytona jacket size medium.
Price: NADA puts it at $4385 in average condition, given the damages and the ready to go replacement parts+goodies im asking...
Everything listed $4250
-175 Jacket (No problem with keeping it, I love this jacket)
-75 Helmet
Bike with all parts (everything listed, NO gear) $4000.
A reasonable offer will be entertained, delivery is possible for the right $$$, partial trades of firearms/ammo possible.
If you have a cash offer for a stock supersport price, i'll have my wrenches ready to return it to stock and sell it to you. I know what the parts can sell for in under 24 hours on these forums, so if you offer $3250, i can easily put on factory parts to get the extra $750 I want from the parts. I don't want to be rude, but if your reasonable, i will be too.
