FS: 2008 Ducati 1098R #205, 2300 miles, BSTs, DK, Shift Tech, Sharkskinz, trailer!

For Sale is my 2008 Ducati 1098R #205 of 450 with 2387 miles. I’m honestly selling it because it has become a garage queen and I may have put 100 miles on it in the past year, and I want someone who will take it out and enjoy it to buy it. The bike has a transferrable extended warranty until 6/29/2013 so you can buy with confidence, although it has never been used because the bike hasn't given me reason to use it. I purchased the bike in May 2010 with 600 miles on it, and the majority of the miles I put on it were in the GA mountains. I did take it to Jennings Gp track one time for a private track day with my buddies and I, but that was only about 50 miles of track time. I have taken great care of this bike and had planned on keeping it forever but we all know things change so I figured I’d try my luck at putting her up for sale. This bike is my pride and joy, I have put quite a bit of money and time in to it to make it perfect. The list of mods is:

DP quick release Carbon Fiber fuel cap
DP open Carbon Fiber clutch cover
DP Neoprene Racing seat
DP front sprocket guard
DP Double Bubble smoke windscreen
Shift Tech CF rear tire hugger
Shift Tech CF mirror covers
Shift Tech CF Brake/Clutch fluid Res standoffs
Shift Tech CF tank guard
Shift Tech CF V-guard
Shift Tech CF gauge cover
Shift Tech CF battery bracket
Shift Tech CF Termi 70mm exhaust shield

CF Full Swingarm Cover

Cox Black Radiator and Oil Cooler Guard Set (with brand new chain case guard)

MetalTech SBK Black rearsets (brand new 0-miles)

BST Carbon Fiber Wheels (street 17 rear)
w/ Bridgestone BT-002R Tires mounted & balanced (500 miles on them)
w/ GALFER wave rotors (mounted with Titanium bolts)

Stock Marchesini Forged Aluminum Gold 1098R wheels (1800 miles)

Speedymoto Front axle-sliders
Speedymoto Rear axle-sliders
Speedymoto Rear axle nut driver
Speedymoto Black pressure plate caps w/stainless screws

Pitbull rear reversible pin stand (Ducati)
Pitbull front forklift converter (with pin to fit Kyle Racing 30mm triple)

Suspension:
Ohlins forks sent to Dan Kyle for re-spring to superbike valves/springs for 170lb rider
Ohlins TTX36 sent to Dan Kyle for re-spring and mod for track link
Kyle Racing 30mm offset triple clamp
Kyle Racing rear track link
Kyle Racing Ducati Ride Height Tool
Ohlins spanner wrench
Sato Adjustable Height Link (gold)

3M Full paint protection kit

Clear Alternatives integrated taillight
Rear Fender Eliminator
CF License Plate Frame

Stock parts included:
Stock red v-guard
Stock triple clamp
Stock top 1098R Serialized #205 of 450 triple
Stock track link
Stock height link
Stock fuel cap
Stock 1098R rearsets

2008 Ducati 1098R Service Manual CD (not a copy, real Ducati part ordered from dealership)

All Manuals/Keys, Code card, etc
Signed/framed serialized picture with Fabrizio and Bayliss
DDA new in box, never used
Ducati Flag for your garage wall

Also included is an original 2008 Ducati 1098R Painting by a local and very talented Florida artist.

I’m also including a custom painted full set of race/track fairings. (Sharkskinz). This a full set of fairings including a lightweight fiberglass ETI fuel cell (check website for specs). Fuel tank alone is over $1500 only primed. All custom painted to match Troy Bayliss’ WSBK 1098R Xerox paint scheme. The fairings have a about 200 miles on them, I bought them used and they are not installed on the bike as you can see from the pics. The seller told me that these fairings are the exact ones on ETI’s website and also painterdude’s Race Replica link.

I also have some brand new track/riding gear if you’re interested let me know.

With everything that i included with the purchase of this bike it will be limited to pick-up only. I will not risk shipping everything included, it was way too nice to possibly get damaged. I’m locate in Pembroke Pines FL 33026. You can email me @ sfclary@yahoo.com for any questions. My ebay user is sfclary97uj if you’d like to check my feedback.

I’m also selling a 2011 Haulmark Lowhauler Motorcycle trailer (SIlver/Black w/red/sil/blk graphics) as seen in the pics @ Jennings GP. It is also the exact one on the website when you go to Haulmark and look at them. It is a 7x12 V-nose with electric brakes custom ordered and picked up at the factory with a factory installed helmet cabinet inside as well as PitPal trailer door cabinet/wall organizer, PitPal Aerosol/Oil Cabinet, PitPal tie down hangers, PitPal Mr Hook, PitPal Universal Hangers, PitPal Maglight Holder, PitPal extension cord hanger, as well as a spare wheel/tire (never used). It also has 2 Pitbull restraint systems that both have pins for Ducati 1098-1198s. I have over 7k in this trailer and it has about 2k miles on it.

Have both titles in hand.

2011 Haulmark V-nose Lowhauler 7x12: $6,500

2008 Ducati 1098R with all the included parts $27,500

That's a lot of coin for someone to come up with in one fell swoop. I've got the same bike myself.

For someone needing a loan, NADA value won't take the expensive add-ons into consideration.

Me thinks you might be better off at least selling the BSTs on their own and bringing down the total asking price to make her more affordable. I've been thinking about adding BSTs myself (hint, hint).

Either way, gorgeous bike and beautiful trailer. I have a featherlite v-nose which is really nice, but your LOW trailer looks like the tits for loading/unloading on a grade. It shows that you really took excellent care of your toys.

Thanks for the compliments everyone! I hear you with anyone needing a loan to purchase it with the add-ons. I would really like someone to have an interest like all of us and take the whole package. I've had quite a bit of interest in the skinz, and wheels.

Hopefully it will sell as a package, but I'll let everyone know if I do end up to break it up. It all depends on how much interest I get in the bike, trailer and separate parts. It would be great if someone bought the trailer and the bike package and picked it up, with as much stuff is included it would make the most sense and would be the safest to transport home.

This is your ultimate turn-key setup.

I'd just like to say thanks to everyone for the offers so far. A few more info items to add I've had questions on:

Has the bike ever been down? No it has not, it's in perfect shape/clean title with no scratches, etc. It has been babied always garaged, never ridden in the rain.

Am I the original owner? I actually bought it from a friend stock with 600 miles on it.

Why am I selling it? Unfortunately I dont ride it enough and now the wife and I have a little one on the way so it will be ridden even less and it's is WAY too nice of a setup to sit. (She doesnt want me to sell it though, because she's been with me throughout the building this setup).

Am I interested in trades? Not at this time, I'm looking to thin the fleet a bit.

Will you part it out? Not at this time, I would like someone to be able to purchase the entire setup.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

If you decide to part it, I'm interested in the stock gold wheels.

I'll put you in line for the wheels but I think theres already about 5 people ahead of you! lol

I know someone out there want to scoop this up, otherwise I'll have to keep it and find more time to enjoy it!
