Bimota DB4 with Motocorse Kit

I'm selling my 2000 Bimota DB4 to make room for an MV F3. The bike has recently had a full service including belts, valves, oil/filter, brake/clutch fluid and a general check of torques throughout, clutch condition, etc... A new set of slicks were put on before the last track day. It's fresh and ready to go.

The bike is quick and handles really well. Suspension was recently setup by Catalyst Reaction for a 175lb. rider with gear. It turns in quickly and holds a line no problem at all. Power is good with the bike being able to compete with current 1100 2V Ducatis (Hypermotards) on tracks like Buttonwillow and Fontana.

This bike is in very nice condition and only has 3,918 miles. There is a small tear in the seat, a couple of tiny nicks in the paint from road debris (mostly all bugs on the front in the images sorry I didn't clean the bike after the last couple of track days), there is a discoloration on the link pipe of the exhaust where it touched something while it was hot and that's it.

The bike comes with a lot of extras.

On the bike:
  • Marchesini forged magnesium wheels.
  • Billet Brembo brake and clutch master cylinders.
  • Driven SBK grips.
  • Half fairing with custom paint.
  • Tinted windscreen.
  • Motocorse titanium exhaust.
  • Brembo 4 pad brake calipers.
  • Enlarged rear storage area.
  • FCR carbs.
  • Motocorse tank to work with carbs.

Included extras:
  • OEM wheels in perfect condition.
  • OEM carbs.
  • OEM tank.
  • OEM exhaust with carbon heat shield.
  • Complete spare OEM full fairing bodywork set including the tank/tail unit front and side fairings.

The bike is stored in the Pro Italia warehouse just north of Los Angeles, CA. To arrange a look at the bike or to purchase email anthony@desmoworks.com - I'm only in Los Angeles one or two weeks of the month so seeing the bike will take some scheduling. Bike can be shipped anywhere.

Here are a few select images. The rest are on my flickr account.

Anth, how much are you asking for it? Might be perfect track bike for me.

Talk soon,

I knew I left something out... looking for $10,000. That's what I originally paid for the bike + shipping. My thinking is that the cost of the parts, service, tires, etc... are the fee I paid to enjoy the bike.

This might matter to CA guys as I know the laws are different than the rest of the US, but the bike has a clear PA title.

It REALLY would be a perfect bike for you, super light weight, great handling, good grunt out of corners, & has a top-end that's faster than my Hyper! also it would be nice to keep it in the "family" Aloha Alex

This bike is stunning in person. The paint job is outstanding and all the details are there for the full Bimota experience.

Bike will be at Cafe Desmo this weekend. I'll take $9,500 that day if you bring it in twenties, tens and fives
