2003 st4s f/s
This is the best version of this incredible bike (IMHO!) Senna color scheme, factory hard bags, Ducati Designs headlight, 2006 seat, RAM mount for GPS (GPS not included) 43t rear stealth sprocket, 20k miles, 75% left on Pirelli Diablo stradas, RED key and all orig documentation. This bike is about as pristine a bike as you will find on a daily rider. I wish I had more time to ride. Its a shame it is just sitting in the garage...it needs to be ridden. Working on more images, but you can see the bike in my images under my avatar for now. asking $7800 obo.

I'm sure it's really clean but $7000 is steep. I'm looking for one. A nice yellow one 02 just sold in Tampa, FL with 9k miles and a Corbin and Sargent seat for $4,000. If you do a Searchtempest.com search of Craigslists nationwide there is yours and one other over $6k asking price and a few others between $4k and $5k. At $7k I think you are going to have to hang onto it. It's the color scheme I like best too but the color of a bike isn't worth an extra $2k to me. GLWS

For $4-5k, its not worth selling. I would rather hang onto it for the occasional ride than give it away. I haven't even had any offers, so my coveted ST isn't as coveted as I had thought, I suppose. I love when people compare bikes...and I KNOW the $4k bike wasn't in the condition of this bike......but whatever. This is no fire sale...I don't "need " to sell it, but I know that this bike is pristine. I wouldn't hesitate selling this bike to my best friend. Good luck with your search.

I don't think it's a problem of the ST4s being disirable but a problem of equinomics at a certain price point there are too many other options for significantly less. I would rather have the ST4s but for $3k less I can get same year and similar mileage Aprilia Futura or a number of other similar styled bikes in adition to other ST4s's. Here's another example of a very clean ST4's with more upgrades and similar mileage to yours for $1k less. I'm not trying to clutter your add and am not likely a buyer for yours because you feel about your ST4s as I did about my ST2 before selling it (hence our over pricing them).
2002 Ducati ST4s
I sincerely wish you luck in the sale. Your wheels look cooler then his

Bump for great bike and what I think is a reasonable asking price.
Squeakers out there looking for rock bottom pricing sometimes overlook a well taken care of Ducati. Up to date maintenance is worth a lot to me.
When I was looking for a ST4S I saw plenty of them, some much cheaper than what I bought, but I bought something that was not beat/thrashed and in perfect pristine condition.
I paid almost that last year for my ST4S, and it needed a full service.
I'd love to have that headlight assembly on mine!!
Good luck, as I'm sure it will be a quick sale

I agree with Mark.
I just bought an inexpensive ST4S with about the same mileage for alot less but I'm already putting money into it.
I'm replacing the swingarm because it was damaged from the cush drive backing out.
Rear sprocket was near the end of its life and probably wore the chain funny as well.
Tires were mismatched and the rear was an old Michelin Road that has not been made for awhile.
The over flow tank needed replacing.
Paint work is needed on the right side and on the bags.
I'm changing belts, all the fluids because I did not get all the records.
Center stand was missing.
It has the crappy OEM lights.
and I'm sure there is more because we just started tearing it apart.
It did not matter to me because I'm planning to take the bike down to the frame to paint it red and the swingarm was going to be coated black anyway. I was planning to install HID headlights, different chain, larger sprocket, new tires and OZ wheels anyway. I would have taken the center stand off anyway.
But for most people that don't have a warehouse full of parts, shop equipment and techs to help them, it can get very expensive to get these bikes back into top condition.
