Paint bubbles on tank - 749R
Howdy.
My 749R has recently developed some paint bubbles around the tank breather. I suspect that fuel is seeping under the paint around the breather hole and it seems to be getting worse. I also suspect that it is a design flaw as later model xx9 series bikes seem to have the breather hole slightly more riased.
Has anyone else encountered the same problem? If so, what was the fix?
I am thinking of having a thick washer welded to the top of the tank before I get the paint re-sprayed.
