Interesting info on 848 with Shell Rotella T (FUll Synthetic) Diesel Oil

I've been running the Shell Rotella Synthetic in my 999 tack bike with no problems. I was told by a couple Ducati mechanics that this oil is as close to the Shell Ultra 4 that Ducati recommends from the factory (yes, that little sticker placed on every Ducati)

Looks like this guy is running it on his 848 and sent in the Rotella for testing and got a full report back.
I'm changing my oil between 250-400 miles on the track bike as it's not being run under "normal" conditions.

Looks like I'll continue with my $30 oil and filter changes

The viscosity drop would certainly concern me.
