1995 Ducati 900SS CR/Supermono Conversion Bike of the Month Submittal
I'd like to submit my 1995 Ducati 900SS CR/Supermono Conversion for Bike of the Month:
In 1993 Ducati began production of the Supermono motorcycle that continued for 3 years and a total of 67 bikes. These motorcycles were only used for racing in the Sound of Singles, Supermono Class & Isle of Mann TT where the only rules were that the bike had one cylinder and that is it. Ducati promised to make a street version of the Supermono for years, but Ducatisti are still waiting for that to occur. Recently, an Englishmen decided to create a street version of the Supermono and it sells for approximately $52,000. Recently, I checked on an original Supermono and the asking price was $118,000. Since I always wanted this bike I decided to create my own version. Starting with a 1995 Ducati 900SS CR purchased in December, I began the conversion to the Supermono in January of this year.

Yes, Absolutely fantastic work!
Very nice job on all the finer details…
The Supermono’s have always been my favorite example and your conversion is a nice blend of each bike.
Thanks for sharing your work on this very nice and unique example.

Very nice livery! (just one cylinder too many)
(sorry, I just love singles and the Supermono is at the top of the list!)
