Tracktoy

A year ago I decided to construct a bike for some race-track-fun. A friend of mine thoght, that that 900 i.e. with a selfmade frame based on a 996 could be the right basic for that.
So we started with that:

After trying it...I didn´t feel very comfortable to sit on selfwelded frame with some magnesiumwheels from 1993 and a frontend from a zxr400...so I took the engine from that 900 i.e. and planted it into a ss-frame from 1991. We also implanted the whole electrics with fuelinjection and everything. Frontend is M900 with PVM callipers and discs and.
I did a 2-days-practice this year and that 155 kg-cannonball is really fast Ask that 748-driver who could not believe, that I took him on the straight!

Now i´m working on a new bodywork. I´ll load up pics when it is done.
Year: 1991
Model: Original 750 SS
Eng size: 900 ccm
Pipes: BOS-Carbon...pipes on their best
Seat: selfmade based on 916, but shorter and smaller
Wheels: Original front, 5,5 " back
Accessories: nothing! (155 kg!! That´s enough!)
And the story:

looks good and it will be a fun bike to drive on the track.
but i think 155kg will be a bit to optimistic.
i have a SS myself and the lowest i got it was 157kg with magnesium wheels, carbon tank,...

henk!!!
