Bike of the month winners for January and February
Since there has been no response to this, and no followup, I have selected the winners....
January winner is for best design.
February's winner is for longest lasting tires....
I looked on some of VS's other sites to see what they were doing with BOM.
Not one, ZIPPO, was doing anything with this forum.
Think it's a lame idea?
I mean, not even the Suzuki forums, had anything other than "WTF".
LOL

It'd be much too easy if there were a set of rules and anything other than arbitrary choosing of winners. We can't have this make sense like it does on every other forum out there.
So for March I nominate my cat, because his name is Desmo and he kind of sounds like a v-twin when he purrs.

I won't post pics because I feel they are unnecessary, I'll just describe him and keep adding details when people complain.

re-count!
the big wheel is bike of the century!
in terms of miles of smiles per buck, the big wheel beats a ducati any day! such sweet flashbacks... I'm glad you selected my all-time favorite.
but for next month, lets get a little dangerous...

My son has a dog he and I named Desmo.
Dogs are better than cats. Cats suck.
So, I win for March!

Can I nominate my 10 year old Lab? She sounds like an L twin too, but she isn't purring and it is usually after a big meal.
I have to be honest, I love February's winning bike. I still have my 1969 Lemon Peeler in my shop, although I don't have the accessory baseball bat holder.

10th birthday flashbacks! Ran all the way home from school to see an Evel Knievel stunt cycle on the dining room table. Made my year!

+1 on the dog. Dogs are better than cats. Cats do suck. They are only in it for themselves. I try to run over them when I'm in my car and I see them crossing the street. However I wouldn't attempt this with my Ducati in fear of crashing bike just to run over a stinkin' cat. Sincerely, Avid cat hater! (just kidding)
