Pure bragging rights bike. Museum piece is what it amounts too. Cool, but ultimately useless.

Kind of reminds me of the V-Max.
Back in those days, I had a new 1993 Honda CBR 600 F2, and I raced a V-Max from the stoplight.
I over-clutched it and did an absurd wheelie, he nailed it and spanked me.
Pretty humbling. Still, I think my CBR would have killed him on the track. Better frame and set-up.

I disagree.
I think that the Desmocidici engine in a Monster frame would be great. I had a chance to ride a Desmocidici around our local track courtesy of a very trusting owner and the Desmo rode very similar to my 749. Even the owner commented about this.
The 'cidici wasn't a crazy a$$ beast and the power delivery was very smooth and predictable.
Combine those characteristics with a nicer riding postion like the monster and I think it would be a winner for sure!
Overkill? Maybe but that's what Monsters are all about... get em and mod em to your hearts content.
My thoughts
Cheers!
