So I sat on a 2010 Multistrada "S" Touring today...

Man! That thing is c-o-m-f-o-r-t-a-b-l-e and very sexy...in a multistrada way . That being said, I'm an average 5'10"/32" inseam/size 10 shoe kind of guy and when placing the balls of my feet on the pegs my left heel actually pushes the center stand down an inch or so as my left heel just naturally rests on it. For that matter, both of my heels rest against the passenger pegs with the balls of my feet on the "driver" pegs. Don't like that!
Being curious, I walked over to a Triumph Tiger also at the dealership...no such problem or even close on that one. Weird.....

That has been well documented in the Multi forum and is probably the number 1 reason why I can't get excited about that bike. You'd think it would be right up my alley, but that would be a deal breaker for me, unfortunately.
I remember riding ...something years ago with the same foot positioning issues and I couldn't wait to get off it...that drove me batshit.

It's all you large and ungainly 'muricans that have feet too big. If you had a proper Latin size 8 shoe you would fit perfectly.

Didn't Ducati have the same problem with the S2R among other Monsters?

That's what it was...a Monster! Even with my Euro 43's, my heels were splayed out...same thing on the Multi. The centerstand fix helps one part, but not the whole problem.

I'm 6'2" w size 12 feet, you totally get used to the riding position, it's a non issue after a couple of hours. They're amazing bikes, fast as a superbike, totally comfortable, much more sporting than a Tiger.

Were you over at D&D eyeballing the goods? The Multi was a tad tall for me but I sat on the white Tiger they had and loooved it. Maybe if I can convince my wife to let me have two bikes I'll make the choice easy for you and take the Triumph out of the equation.
