Racing suit for a tall guy.......

I wanted to start going to track days, and I'm looking for an appropriate suit. The problem is I am 6'3" and weigh 190 lbs. I really don't want to spend the money for a custom made suit, do you guys know if anyone makes one that would fit I could buy off the rack? Everything I have tried on has arms that are too short and the legs are too short also.

I am 6'2"/ 195lbs and also new to track days. So, I bought an AGV suit as they came highly recommended as a good low cost suit for track days. I actually had the best fit with the Ducati (Dianese) suit but it was $1.5k.

I bought a 48" but its a bit tight so you will most likely want a 50". Also, the legs will not go all the way down to your ankles. This is ok since your boots will cover up your shins. http://www.agvsport.com/2003/sizing.htm

You should really try out Pilot leathers here in the good ol' US of A. You can get a off the shelf suit for like $800 or get one customer tailored to your specifications for about $1000 and some change. My buddy just special ordered one. You can pick out the colors, the patches, if you want a speed hump all that stuff. I'm definetly getting my new suit from them.

I wear a custom fitted and custom designed Pilot suit.

Worth every damn penny I spent on it. I spent about 1000 bucks, which is still cheaper than Dainese's most affordable off the rack suit (the laguna seca). I actually had a laguna seca and the quality of my pilot suit is as good, if not better.

Extremely satisfied.

You are the same size as me and the Komodo 46 fit great with a chest and back protector.
I have always used custom Syeds in the past but the Komodo fit and feel great.

Dainese and Alpine Stars have different sizings depending on the suit. Not like long or short measures but different styles will be more tall than short for a given size. The more race oriented suits tend to be for a leaner frame.
