2009 848 invoice price?!?!
I'm looking to buy an 848 but I don't want to go in blind. I did a search and can't find listed what the invoice price is on the 2009 848. Anyone know?
Also what other charges are ontop of the invoice price? Destination, prep, etc? How much should document fees and stuff be too?
Thanks!

There have been used ones in my area (IL) for around $10K on Craigslist. Not sure of the exact new bike invoices though. Shop around a little. One thing for certain, it's definitely a buyers market so I would try to negotiate those useless fees.

Well MSRP is $13,995 and the best deal I have found on the forum is a dealership going down to $12,395.
So $12,395 plus CA tax, license, and doc fees looks like the best I could hope for???

Don't quote me on this, but I heard Brea Ducati was selling 848s with Termi exhaust (not sure if its the full or the slip-ons) for $14,000 out the door.
Might wanna check with them.

you will be charged:
bike
prep or PDI
shipping or destination
DMV & doc Fees
Tax
the mark up on a bike is not that match so don't be a jerk to your dealer, pay a fair price but don't push it or they will make you pay it later...

Any idea what dealer cost is for the destination fee (which on cars is never marked up anyway) and how much prep/PDI and doc fees should be?
I know allot of dealers rape on that stuff and I just wannt know what the costs really are. I have no problem with them making a profit, I just don't want to get charged anything more on something than another dealer might charge you know.
I know edmounds.com has all the invoice and dealer pricing for cars, whats the same for motorcycles?!

cyclebuy.com does dealer invoice pricing data but it is a for fee service and doesn't cover Ducati. I used it when I bought an R1 a few years ago

Don't get me wrong, I love my Ducati, but isn't that discounted price the same as an R1 or Blade? I know, the Ducati is a Ducati but that's a lot of money for an 848.
