Bye bye "hott ducati women" thread
I love this forum. I loved days of old in the military too. It is truly a sad day indeed too with the times we live. Times where the minority rule. If people are unhappy, they complain. If people are happy, they don't make a sound. 147 people crushed a thread viewed and enjoyed by over 9000 others. I absolutly hate political correctness.
I remember back prior to the 1990s in my fighter squadron. Pin ups by your desk and porn in the bar. Good stuff. I may be a caveman but that was true male bonding! Even had strippers in the O'club and the squadron bars. Now THOSE were great times. If you're one of the few who were offended then tough shi#. I don't complain when I see a bible in the room. "Hey, your hair style offends me, cut it off!" Yeah, right.
Show all respect to be sure. But the wimps, sheep, "poor me" helpless few that don't have a back bone temper the rules we live by. Screw 'em. I'm "type A" and proud of it.
Now, forum rules are forum rules and I for one live by the rules. But, if those in charge of this wonderful place viewed the vast majority of pics on that thread that shall not be named as "acceptable", then, once again, not only the 147 (or whatever # complained) but those that blatantly posted nudity screwed us too. Thanks idiots on both ends.
I'm outta here...and to another thread or secton. This place rocks!

The Hott Ducati Women thread was great until somebody started posting pix of obese women on there.
Now, nude dwarves I can handle, but semi-nude fat broads are beyond the pale.

Comments like these are no help.
I too liked and always checked the Hott (sic) women thread.
But this kind of crap, along with nudity, ruined it.
As a father of a smart, athletic, Ducati loving daughter I wish people would respect women as equals. I have had the pleasure of riding along with women riders...and we are all motorcycle riders and enthusiasts under the skin...no matter the shape or gender.
As much as I love to see beautiful women (and I mean real women not supermodels that look like pre-pubescent boys,) this is a Ducati forum...there are plenty of places to see hot women on the web, (beyond plenty, do a search and compare it to a Ducati search) or go get an Easyriders magazine.

Not always in a democarcy do the majority rule. If 51% of the people said there should be no more motorcycle riding in this country, would that be fair? Of course not, and there are laws against such unfairness. The rules of our democratic society don't allow the majority to make unfair rules against the minority, it has to be for the good of all people. Here at ducati.ms there is no democracy but there are rules for the good of all. MAD, you are right that back not too many years ago it was "the good life," especially in the military. Nose art, pin ups, strippers in the club. Look at the old Bob Hope USO tours, they blantantly used sexy women to entertain the GIs. But times change and unfortunately some of us don't like change.

I love skinny supermodels. Most women who call themselves "real women" I just call fat, but to each his own. One thing we do agree on is that we both like Harleys and Ducatis. Ride safe

Gotta admit, I do prefer women with curves, just like the roads I like....that said, you ride safe too, bro, on your HD or Ducati.
