Haskovic Benefit Bike Auction

The Ultimate Track-Day Bike Up For Auction

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to bid on the purchase of the Ultimate Track-Day Bike, a one-of–a-kind Suzuki built from Vincent Haskovec’s personal GSXR750, with all proceeds to benefit fallen rider Vincent Haskovec.

Slightly less than a year ago, Vincent Haskovec stood on the podium at Daytona International Speedway, achieving a lifelong dream, by taking 1st place in the opening event of the 2005 AMA racing season. Two races later, a freak accident abruptly terminated Vincent’s promising career.

In an effort to support Vincent, an auction of the bike made especially for Vincent is available at www.RaceTaylorMade.com. This Ultimate Track-Day Bike was jointly designed and conceived by Vincent and TaylorMade Racing to be an unparalleled machine. Design and construction required over $30,000 and the finest components and parts available. The final product… a 339 pound (with starter, lights, and license plate), 145 horsepower superbike. This Ultimate bike is 25 pounds less than an AMA superbike and only 13 pounds heavier than a Moto GP bike!

“I was planning this bike with Paul Taylor,” stated Vincent. He continued, “I am so happy to see my dream come true, and express my many thanks to all those who got involved in this project.”

Paul Taylor, the project leader, stated, “This is truly the UltimateTrack-Day bike, with a long list of mods highlighted with the stylized custom body with extensive use of carbon fiber enhancing the 2004 GSX-R750’s frame, a Carry Andrew built powerplant, Lindemann tuned suspension, a distinctive exhaust system, all the way down to the Pirelli Diablo Super Corsa rubber. It all contributes to the superlative performance, light weight and esthetic appeal.”

The bike’s offering is anticipated to raise substantial funds for its intended rider. All proceeds go directly to The Wegman Benefit Fund, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to aid fallen motorcycle racers, for Vincent’s exclusive benefit.

Full details and specifications are available at www.racetaylormade.com. Auction closes March 1, 2006.

OnCycles, Cycle Cat and Dymag are all very proud to have contributed to this project. We wish Vincent the best in the future.

Having had the pleasure of having Vincent to our home for dinner a couple years back, I have to say, he is one of the best guys you can imagine! We did a local fundraiser here in NC for him. I hope the bike sells for a bunch!

Thanks Rick. Thats a sweet bike with a good cause.
That would look pretty good in your garage. If you had that as a track bike you could tear down the 748 and put in that new motor your building.

Yeah I know,I just get bitter when I see all these benifits for Pro racers...I work at a bike store and we sell Ernesto fonseca bracelets for like 5 bucks...Im not trying to be mean, I know what these guys are going through better than anyone because I did the same thing..I was told I would never walk again..I broke C-5,C-7,and shattered C-6,I have a shin bone from a dead guy in my neck and a titanium plate,I also broke my back in 2 spots and broke my pelvis...I raced expert class, but since I wasnt on team Honda I dont get any "braclets" These guys get taken care of for the rest of their lives and I work 2 jobs now in constant pain....hey Haskovic take the time you need to recover and then get a job.

I would expect that this auction was put together by people Vincent Haskovec knew who wanted to help there friend. I for one cannot imagine ever slamming someone for trying to help out a person in need just because I am in need too. I am very sorry for your loss and pain. Give me your address and I'll send you $5. Oh, and you can keep the bracelet.

Hehehe My bad. I do understand where you are coming from, to a point.

Oh and I just edited my last post and dialed back the emotion a bit.
