Guess What I raced today!

Well, it was the first round of our Ducati Cup race season today and "new" bike showed up to the race. Ducati flew in a new "Hypermotard" 1100s for the race for a rider out of Toronto ( Iforgot his name, sorry). Anyways, I know it was the first in Canada, how about North America?? and it was being raced lol.

That is awesome. This was the first *ever* round of the Ducati cup correct? I am going to try and make one round this year

Yes this was the first round of the Ducati Cup sponsored by Ducati Canada. It was a great weekend and was awesome to see a grid full of ducks. I managed to squeeze off a 4th in the rain.

I was riding my 749 against the motard. He did extremely well on it with a 3rd, 1st was Chad Pasowitsy on the new PS Ducati Canada race bike and 2nd was Yves Carrier on Revoluzione's SS1000.

They spent some time tweakeing it though, the dropped the front triples 1.5" and installed a STM slipper just before the last race. They also were lucky buggers and got rain race tires on in time for the race......I rode with my ass puckered on supercorsa DOT tires

Cool. I am looking at the dates of the Ducati cup. I'd love to try and make a round or two. Long drive for me though, 36hrs at least
