The Guy Webster collection of Italian motorcycles
I just thought I would say that if any SoCal Duc riders can do so, please join what is probably the very last tour of this FABULOUS collection of Italian bikes tomorrow morning. It is being sponsored by the SoCal Norton Owners Club and the bikes will meet on High St. in old downtown Moorpark. Ducatis ( or even your cage) are certainly welcome. The bikes leave for the collection at 9am.
If you are not familiar with the Webster collection, it is a veritable history of the Italian performance bike industry. What makes this ride/tour special is that it is probably the very last. Rumor has it that Guy is moving from Ojai and is only taking a fraction of the approximately 90 motorcycles with him to his new home.
The collection is only opened by Guy by prior arrangement with motorcycle groups. There is no charge....he does it out of his enthusiasm for Italian machinery. Just bring your best manners and enthusiasm.

Wow! thanks for that link. That was an amazing display of beautiful motorcycles as well as the history behind each bike. Nice to know the heritage behind Italian motorcycling.

Oh well, I read this message one day to late. I would have bought out my 998S Bos. Im sure you guys had a great time. I saw it once before but you can never see this one to much.

Sorry. I was so preoccupied with Clubman's that I forgot to post it earlier. I just heard that Guy may transfer that portion of his collection that he is not taking with him, to Mike Taggerts collection, which if you like fabulous motorcycles is quite the cats nads. This is said to happen this September or October.

Awww.... I wish I could have seen this earlier. I know Guy pretty well and he's right down the way from me. He's such a nice guy.
